WriteUpCafe relies on the community to help keep the platform healthy. If you see something that breaks our guidelines, report it — our moderation team reviews every report.
How to report a writeup
- Open the writeup.
- Click the three-dot menu (⋯) at the top right.
- Select Report this article.
- Pick a reason (spam, harassment, copyright, adult content, misinformation, other).
- Optionally add context — the more specific, the faster we can act.
- Submit.
You can report as a guest — just provide your name and email so we can follow up if needed.
What happens after you report
- Your report enters the moderation queue.
- An admin reviews it — usually within a few hours.
- If the content breaks guidelines, it’s removed or hidden.
- The author gets notified and can appeal.
- You get a confirmation that your report was reviewed.
Reporting comments and users
Same menu on comment rows and user profiles. For user-level reports (harassment, impersonation, spam across many posts), include links to specific examples.
Tip: Please don’t mass-report writeups you simply disagree with. Reports should be for genuine guideline violations. Misuse can result in your reporting privileges being restricted.
