Stay Hydrated
No matter where your activity takes you this summer—indoors or out—staying hydrated is essential. The more you sweat, the more water you need to drink. The air conditioning may be on inside the gym, but during the summer, you may find yourself losing more water than during other times of the year.
Carry a water bottle wherever you go. Don’t forget about electrolytes, either. While “regular” water can be great for replenishing your hydration, you may also need to replace electrolytes. Supplement your normal water intake with electrolyte powders or beverages to give your body what it needs to maximize your performance this summer.
