The Realms That Make SeaWorld Yas Island, Abu Dhabi Unforgettable
Here’s a look at the SeaWorld Yas Island, Abu Dhabi’s eight realms:
1. One Ocean
One Ocean is SeaWorld Yas Island’s main hub, serving as the gateway to the other realms and the Animal Care Center.
As soon as you step into this realm, explore its immersive stories through a 360-degree media experience. Drop by the Explorer HQ to discover what the area offers and watch the One Ocean Epic Show.
While here, drop by the Animal Care Center, where you can witness SeaWorld Yas Island’s animal care specialists and veterinarians conduct animal health checks and medical treatments.
The center has large windows, giving you unobstructed views of the facility and its advanced medical equipment. You can speak with the experts to learn about their important work and how you can help protect and save the oceans and different marine animals.
You can also enjoy your meals and snacks at the dining hubs in this realm.
2. Abu Dhabi Ocean
If you’ve always been curious about what’s underneath the Arabian Gulf, you can satisfy your curiosity at Abu Dhabi Ocean.
This realm is home to several touch pools and habitats where you can watch dugongs, sea snakes, sea turtles, bamboo sharks, and rays swim and frolic around. You can also watch pearl diving shows, live characters, and performances about Abu Dhabi-inspired stories and entertainment here.
Take part in an interactive experience by joining the S-E-A Guardian Games, a friendly competition that combines Science, Exploration, and Adventure in various challenges taking place around the park.
You can also indulge in great eats and shopping in this realm.
3. Rocky Point
Enjoy the views and vibe of the Pacific Northwest coast, a famous natural habitat of sea lions at Rocky Point.
Get up close with and feed the gentle but fascinating sea lions and harbor seals at this realm. You can learn more about sea lions by watching the Sea Lion Presentation. You’ll also find cormorants in this realm.

4. MicroOcean
MicroOcean is SeaWorld Yas Island’s underwater-inspired playground. It boasts most of the park’s rides and experiences, such as:
● Turtle Twist – a ride that lets you glide like a sea turtle and enjoy the panoramic views of MicroOcean.
● Octozoom – a spinning ride that takes you up and down as it imitates the movements of an octopus as it propels through water and waves.
● Jelly Plunge – an exciting ride that bounces up and down a water column.
● Eel Racer – a ride inspired by the movements of a giant eel that gives incredible views of the realm.
You’ll also find the Explorer’s Sea Base and Kelp Climb, encounter Sea Star, the realm’s main character, and watch a musical starring Krill Dude in MicroOcean here. The realm’s dining and shopping options won’t disappoint you, either.
5. Tropical Ocean
Immerse yourself in the natural beauty and ambiance of a tropical island at the Tropical Ocean.
This zone features the theme park’s most thrilling ride: the Manta Coaster, which holds the world record for the first zero gravity flip-outs with 17 airtime moments. The roller coaster takes you through exciting loops and a bioluminescent tunnel that allows you to see the incredible marine life in Ray Reef.
While here, you can take part in and watch different animal experiences and presentations, including the Dolphin Presentation. You’ll also see canopy climbers and frog and butterfly stilt walkers.

6. Arctic
In this realm, which is part of the Polar Ocean, you’ll find walruses, sea otters, puffins, cold-water fish, and other marine animals.
You can also enjoy one of the most interactive SeaWorld Abu Dhabi experiences, the Hypersphere 360°. The vessel is a fully immersive, 360-degree multimedia sphere that takes you on a journey underwater.
If you’ve always wanted to visit the North Pole, you can explore the next best place: the Juhani Village. You can bring home arctic-inspired souvenirs at the Arctic Trading Post.
Take the time to drop by the research vessel and look for the resident comedic duo, Sven and Oorni.
7. Antarctica
Antarctica is the second realm in the Polar Ocean. It’s the home of six different penguin species, which are the following:
● Adélie penguin
● Chinstrap penguin
● Gentoo penguin
● King penguin
● Macaroni penguin
● Rockhopper penguin
This realm maintains an air temperature of 1°C and water temperatures of 7°C to give the penguins the ideal climate. It features mountains, icy shelves, and cold winds, so be prepared for a chilly experience.
Antarctica is home to Penguin Play, a play area with interactive experiences and rides. At Polar Pier, you can shop for penguin toys and other souvenirs. You’ll also find two dining options here.
8. Endless Ocean
The Endless Ocean boasts the largest multi-species marine life aquarium in the region.
This habitat houses over 68,000 aquatic animals, including sharks, rays, moray eels, day octopus, crustaceans, and schooling fish.
You can watch the animals and see the aquarium from different observation areas. You can also enjoy scuba diving, an underwater walking tour, or riding the SeaSub to explore this attraction underwater.
The realm has seven other habitats, which are worth exploring. Learn about the several missions you can be part of within the Launch Bay of the realm’s Seabase 4 and take part in interactive experiences, some of which are included in the S-E-A Guardian Games.
