Your profile is your home base on WriteUpCafe. Readers who click your name see your bio, your writeups, your blogs, and your badges. A few minutes invested here pays off for every single piece of content you publish after.
The essentials
Head to Settings and fill these in:
- Display name — how readers see you (your real name or pen name).
- Avatar — a clear, friendly headshot or logo (square, 400×400 works well).
- Bio — one or two sentences: what you write about, why readers should follow you.
- Links — your personal site, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, or newsletter.
- Location — helps with local discovery and topic recommendations.
Cover image and colors
Pro members can upload a cover image to the top of their profile and customize accent colors. This is one of the easiest Pro perks to take advantage of — see What Pro unlocks.
Connect your blog
If you run a blog elsewhere, submit it to our Blog Directory so it appears on your profile. Verified blog owners get a badge and can accept guest posts from the community.
Tip: A filled-out profile earns you complete_profile points automatically — one of the quickest ways to start climbing the points leaderboard.
